Of course. The Jeppesen binder is the same size as a classic Day-Timer (desk
size), Day-Runner, Franklin, and many other seven ring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 binder
systems. The best hole puncher for one of these systems can be found here:
http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=598924&location_info=_SK_598924
Very useful for putting checklists, flight plans, etc., in your binder.
The very cheapest way to go is with a 3-ring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 binder, as here:
Acco–Wilson Jones® 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Ring Binder, 2" Ring, Black
carried by Office Depot for $6.98. The Jepp plates will fit just fine in
these binders. Hole punchers for these binders are a lot cheaper, too. You
can also save a ton of money just getting Jeppview on CD-ROM and printing
out only those plates that you need on regular paper, punching your own
holes, and putting them in the Acco binder. This is probably a lot cheaper
than using NOS charts, even.
